Premier John Horgan has announced that BC is ready to begin Phase 3 of its Restart Plan. This new phase allows for non-essential travel within the province and the re-opening of accommodation businesses such as our own. As we resume operations, however, we recognize that the coronavirus remains a serious concern, and that we must do our part to maintain the safety of travellers, hosts, and our local community. The Foreshore’s Covid-19 Safety Plan draws on guidance provided by government and industry, and is intended to minimize the risk of virus transmission as we reopen. Key features of the plan are as follows:



  • Email and phone reservations only; no walk-in guests

  • Minimum stay of 2 nights

  • Guests asked to complete BC Covid-19 Self-Assessment Tool and to advise us of any risk of infection (Tool available at

  • Electronic payment in advance



  • Welcome on outdoor patio with due respect to recommended physical distancing and owner operators wearing face masks

  • Room keys sanitized



  • Rigorous cleaning of all surfaces, including commonly touched items like door and window handles, light switches, drawer pulls, remote controls, taps, etc.

  • Unit left vacant for at least 48 hours before re-use 

  • Fully equipped suite with private parking and entrance

  • Face masks, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues provided for guests

  • Laminated information sheets and signage cleaned between stays

  • No paper reading materials provided, such as tourism brochures and maps  

  • Plastic bag supplied for used towels

  • No bed linen changes during stays of less than 5 nights; additional towels on request



  • No table service in main house

  • Reduced breakfast menu available for delivery to door each morning, or a selection of breakfast staples placed in suite prior to arrival
